This course introduces students to the foundations of the web by teaching them how websites are structured and designed. Children build their own personal homepage using safe kid-friendly tools and basic HTML, gaining valuable digital communication skills.

• Introduction to HTML

  Creating a basic page, understanding tags like <h1>, <p>, <img>.

• Headers, text, images

  Adding headers, paragraphs, images to the page.

• Lists and tables

  Using <ul> / <ol> / <table> to organize information.

• Basic CSS design

  Setting background color, fonts, borders.

• Colors and backgrounds

  Designing custom backgrounds and font colors.

• Buttons and links

  Creating buttons and internal/external links.

• Personal “About Me” page

  Combining elements to create a page describing the child.

• Linking pages

• Building websites with multiple linked pages.

Final Project:

A mini personal website with at least three pages (Home, About Me, Gallery or additional info). The child learns to build a functional site, basic design, and navigation. Gives a proud outcome for parents and friends.
